Justin (aka "J.B.")
Guitar Professor
After playing in bands that won his high school and city talent shows, J.B. started college as a music major and played guitar in worship and jazz bands. He studied Biology at The University of Alabama (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and then earned a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from Brigham Young University and has been working in academia for 17 years. He currently teaches biology at Auburn University at Montgomery. J.B. is now back at guitar and music performance with a fresh perspective on teaching combining what he learned during his academic career with his lifelong interest in music and 28 years of guitar playing experience. He's an inspiration for guitar and ukulele students alike and is our lead guitar teacher and the owner of the business.
